Hungry as a Mother

"Hungry as a Mother" From where I sit, Everyone is wearing many different shoes. The brands and bindings abound, From inner soled mole, To open toed guru. The lady next to me sits with the tops of her feet set slightly pressed to the floor. A man sensibly crosses his legs at the ankles, His shoes padded-black-water-proof, Velcro, two strips in a row. I whiff a waft of salami, I dream of hard cheese and dry wine. Our walk through the park... towards the music is unique and sublime. I see a mother in the park prepare to breast feed, She is enjoying a slice of pizza and some crackers and sliced salami. Her husband lays casually playing with their eldest daughter and his iPhone. She is hungry and it cues her to feed her baby. As she eats a slice of pizza listening to the strings that play beautiful music under the chiffon blanket of cool summer dusk. I want that slice of pizza, A piece of salami would be a golden morsel. Is She somewhe
